My first printer was a Da Vinci Mini. Without heated bed, a very small build volume and a total mess with proprietary filament spools.
The second one was (and is) a Prusa mk2. This one works really great. Hardware, Software and Firmware are developed to work together. And it does it pretty well.
So I wanted to learn, why the first one was a disaster and the second one was working fine.
This project is about building up this 3D printer. To keep things simple I didn’t want to reinvent the wheel. So I took parts that worked, changed it and tested how it performs.
So I ended up mixing some other projects into one printer and change parts step by steps as needed or wanted. And afterwards redesigned some of them, others are kept original. So if you recognize parts, that’s why…
