Power supply + Soldering station

This project is about a 32V 3A power supply that has an additional connector to power up a TS-100 soldering iron.

This is not my own project, in most parts its the work of uGen at openbuilds.com. So have a look at the original project at ‘Lab power supply and soldering station’.

I like this project as it’s not another reinvent the wheel thing. This project only puts working parts together and this way creates a safe and usable tool for every day work.

The TS-100 soldering iron is a fantastic tool. It just works!

And if you want to get a bit more features, there is an open source firmware available from Ralim. You can have a look at his work at github. I like his firmware more, due to the fact that it makes working with the soldering iron easier. E.g. It automatically remembers your last working temperature…

Hope you enjoyed that build summary and try it out. Have fun!
